FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions we hear from new and returning customers.
How far in advance should I book my move?

We recommend booking at least one to two weeks ahead, especially during peak season (May through September). For last-minute requests, call us directly — we often have same-day and next-day availability.

Do you provide packing materials?

Yes. Every full-service move includes blankets, shrink wrap, and tape at no extra charge. If you need boxes, bubble wrap, or specialty crating, we offer those at affordable rates.

Are my belongings insured during the move?

All moves include basic liability coverage. If you want full-value protection for high-value items, ask your coordinator about our enhanced coverage options before moving day.

How do you calculate the final price?

Local moves are billed by the hour based on crew size and truck type. Long-distance moves are quoted by weight and mileage. We always provide a written estimate before work begins.

Can you move a piano or pool table?

Absolutely. We have trained crews and specialized equipment for pianos, pool tables, safes, and other heavy or fragile items. Let us know in advance so we assign the right team.

What happens if something gets damaged?

Report any damage within 48 hours and we will open a claim immediately. Our team documents everything before loading, and most claims are resolved within five to seven business days.

Do you disassemble and reassemble furniture?

Yes. Bed frames, dining tables, desks, shelving units, and most standard furniture can be taken apart and put back together at the destination at no additional cost.

Is there a minimum number of hours?

Most local moves carry a two-hour minimum. The exact minimum depends on your crew size and location — your coordinator will confirm this when you book.

Do you handle long-distance moves out of state?

We do. Our long-distance service includes GPS-tracked transport, a dedicated move coordinator, and scheduled delivery windows. Routes are available across all 48 contiguous states.

What items can you not move?

We cannot transport hazardous materials, flammable liquids, perishable food, live plants, or ammunition. If you are unsure about a specific item, ask your coordinator before moving day.

Do you offer storage solutions?

Yes. We partner with secure, climate-controlled storage facilities in the area. Short-term and long-term options are available, and we can deliver your items directly to the unit.

How do I prepare for moving day?

Label your boxes by room, set aside valuables you plan to transport yourself, clear walkways and doorways, and confirm parking access for the truck. We send a detailed checklist by email after booking.
